Dr. Khaled Saleh is the Co-Founder, Board Chairman, and Chief Medical Officer of FAJR Global, a global leader in medical relief and surgical innovation. A world-renowned orthopedic surgeon and prolific academic, Dr. Saleh’s career is defined by a singular mission: to heal, to teach, and to serve.

A distinguished reputation in orthopedic surgery, global health, and health policy, Dr. Saleh has authored nearly 400 peer-reviewed publications, served as senior editor for six medical textbooks, and delivered keynote addresses on international platforms. He has mentored and trained hundreds of physicians across the globe, extending his influence far beyond the operating room.

A pioneer in surgical advancement, Dr. Saleh has personally performed more than 10,000 complex orthopedic procedures and led the design and development of next-generation hip and knee replacement systems—earning multiple granted patents and several more pending. His innovations have reshaped orthopedic standards and improved patient outcomes around the world. His peers have recognized his impact with over 50 global honors and awards, including accolades from the U.S. National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine, honoring his outstanding contributions to medicine and public service through Global Health.

Dr. Nasser is the Co-Founder and CEO of FAJR, and a distinguished leader in exploration and development geophysics, with over two decades of experience in the oil and gas industry.

Dr. Mosab Nasser is a distinguished leader whose career embodies the rare fusion of scientific rigor and humanitarian vision. Trained as a geophysicist, he spent years at the helm of multi-billion-dollar oil and gas projects in some of the most challenging and remote
corners of the globe. Yet, it is his remarkable pivot from energy to humanitarian service that defines his enduring legacy.

As the driving force behind FAJR Global, Dr. Nasser has spearheaded one of the most ambitious and holistic healthcare initiatives for the people of Gaza and beyond. His leadership in FAJR’s medical missions and mental health programs has been particularly striking, demonstrating how a mind trained in precision science can reimagine care for communities under siege. Under his guidance, FAJR has become far more than a medical organization, it is a model of integrated humanitarian response.

The impact is staggering: more than 1,900 surgeries performed, 10,000 patient visits facilitated, and countless lives improved through psychosocial support, food security, and water restoration and distribution. At the same time, FAJR has coordinated complex medical evacuations to Egypt, Jordan, the United States and Europe, ensuring that wounded Palestinian children receive life-saving treatment in hospitals around the world. This comprehensive approach, where surgical excellence meets psychosocial healing and basic human dignity, is reshaping what humanitarian aid can look like.
