About FAJR Global
Founded in 2022, FAJR Global delivers expert surgical care, medical training and humanitarian aid to restore dignity and open paths to opportunity.
Creating a world where food, shelter, healthcare, and education are universal rights
Our mission is rooted in a Hadith of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ:
“Whoever among you wakes up secure in his home, healthy in his body, and has his food for the day, it is as if he has been given the whole world.”
We envision a world where access to life-saving medical and surgical care, quality education, nourishing food, and safe shelter is recognized as a right, not a privilege. We work to bridge the gap between those living with dignity and opportunity and those struggling in desperate need — so that no person is left feeling powerless, forgotten, or without hope.

Medical relief, humanitarian aid, and sustainable impact
FAJR Global is a doctor-led, registered 501(c)(3) non-profit serving the world’s most vulnerable communities. Emergency response, daily survival and long-term capacity are built to reinforce each other — from the operating table to the food parcel to the peer-reviewed paper.

Who we serve
FAJR serves vulnerable and underserved populations — families affected by war, displacement, poverty, natural disaster, medical hardship, and lack of access to essential care. Our programs prioritize communities with limited resources, regardless of socio-economic status, geography, religion, or ethnicity.

Three areas of work, one continuous chain of care
FAJR Medical
Surgical missions, evacuation and supplies
Volunteer surgeons deliver specialist operations where none are available, run medical evacuations and supply lines, and train local teams so the capability stays behind.
FAJR Humanity
Food, shelter and daily relief
Food assistance, shelter and orphan support, a free pharmacy and street clinics — the daily relief that keeps families going between crises and makes medical recovery possible.
FAJR Scientific
Education, research and evidence
Scholarships and support for medical students, and mission data turned into peer-reviewed research — so every operation also improves the next one.

The Maryam Nasser Foundation
FAJR’s endowment. Donated funds are invested, and the revenue they generate supports FAJR’s projects — sustaining the work between campaigns. A dedicated giving mechanism for the Foundation is being established.

FAJR Global is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit in the United States, Tax ID 83-1497239. Mission activity and outcomes are published in the 2023–2025 Impact Report.
