Who we are, Our Mission, & Values

Our Story

FAJR Scientific is a rapidly growing, US-based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to delivering world-class surgical and medical care to those in need. Founded in 2022 by Dr. Khaled Saleh and Dr. Mosab Nasser, FAJR has quickly become a global leader in humanitarian healthcare, specializing in life-changing surgeries for underserved communities.

With a focus on excellence, innovation, and impact, FAJR launched its first medical missions in Palestine, operating in Gaza and the West Bank. Our specialized teams pioneered advanced orthopedic surgery, restoring mobility and improving lives. In 2023, FAJR made history by conducting the largest orthopedic mission ever in Palestine, performing 153 complex orthopedic surgeries in just five days at Shifa, Nasser, and European hospitals in Gaza.

Today, FAJR has expanded beyond orthopedics, providing multi-specialty surgical care to patients worldwide. Our internationally renowned volunteer surgeons are establishing centers of excellence for the prevention, treatment, and management of musculoskeletal and other critical conditions.

FAJR Scientific’s administrative costs were under 1% in 2023 and 3.9% in 2024. We strive to keep our annual administrative costs under 5%, ensuring that your donations go directly toward impactful initiatives.

We serve as a platform for some of the world’s most skilled surgeons and operational leaders to share their expertise and experience with those in dire need. Our mission is to save lives without regard to ethnic or religious backgrounds.
