Some injuries cannot be treated where they happen. When hospitals in Gaza cannot provide the surgery a patient needs, the alternative is care abroad — and reaching it is its own ordeal of approvals, transport and cost.
FAJR's medical evacuation programme carries a patient through every stage: identifying the case with clinicians in Gaza, securing the transfer, arranging treatment in Egypt, Jordan or further afield, and staying with the family through rehabilitation.
